Living room with a fireplace

Lighting design for a living room with a fireplace, library shelving and a soft seating area. The key idea is layered light: a diffuse ceiling contour, shelf lighting, a warm line simulating a fireplace and a floor lamp as a local source by the sofa. For each scene the illuminance distribution was checked in false colours, confirming there are no over-lit spots and that the working and relaxation areas have comfortable light levels.
